The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab to open the onboard bin, and a shelf to store bags that are not in the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it simple to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already established its name thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning technologies. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction power, and the mopping systems of the brand feature vibrating mops that scrub floors to remove dirt. Plus, a wide range of mapping and scheduling options let you fine-tune the schedule of cleaning for your home's specific needs.
Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects that are that are lower than its height. It's a bit smaller than many of the competition, and its main brush is smaller than others, but it was able to get the job done in a short amount of our test area easily. The revolving brush on the side for edges is a nice touch and, while it couldn't lift dirt off our carpets and was not as effective as some of the competitors but it did a decent job overall.
