Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum mop is a great alternative for those who live in flats, because it takes the trash away in its own bin, and also uses the docking station that is smaller. The app lets you set different modes and monitor cleans, plus the mopping feature impresses.
Its mapping, obstacle avoidance and mopping capabilities are impressive. It picks up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and re-fills its tank.
Roomba iRobot Combination
The iRobot Combo is a robot that can mop and vacuum. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with a mobile app that is easier to use, but it's a good alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance may not be as advanced as other systems, such as LiDAR and structured light, but it manages to prevent most collisions.
The Combo has the same functions as the j7 Plus, including new onboard acoustic sensors to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation. However, it lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also smaller than its vac-only counterpart, and it doesn't have self-empty docks.
In my experience, the Combo is a great choice for most homes and its sleek design is easily one of the top in the market. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab to open the onboard bin, and a shelf to store bags that are not in the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it simple to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.
Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already established its name thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning technologies. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction power, and the mopping systems of the brand feature vibrating mops that scrub floors to remove dirt. Plus, a wide range of mapping and scheduling options let you fine-tune the schedule of cleaning for your home's specific needs.
Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects that are that are lower than its height. This is particularly beneficial for the most popular Roborock models, such as the Qrevo Master, which is top of its class in terms of navigation, thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are often seen to crash into furniture and run over pet faeces without noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this issue with an AI system called Reactive that utilizes twin cameras to detect objects in a room.
Roborock robots also have a number of convenience features that make it easier to manage the need for daily maintenance, such as docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. They eliminate the need to manually empty bins and wash mops, resulting in an entirely hands-free ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its easy-to-use design and the lag-free connection with the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its extensive variety of cleaning features integrated and advanced mopping capabilities, is among the top robot vacuums/mops that can be used on wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines 5 technologies to plan and execute a route that is most efficient. It can also identify different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with precision. It can even raise itself 7mm to glide on carpets. The intelligent spray system uses the right amount of water to remove stains without leaving unsightly water marks.
The Legee is an Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which cost more. It is more feature-rich than either one with a more flexible, D-shaped body that cleans the corners and under cabinets better than a round robot. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro, and E-compass) four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two Cliff detectors, front and back (most robots have only one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to reduce the bump-and-grind problems that cause problems for Gen 4 robots.
Contrary to other robots the Legee comes with an integrated trash compactor that supports the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop wash station is included and washes, refills and dries your mop's 'cloth. This means that you can use it for up to six times longer than with other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency with which bins are empty.
Karcher RCV 5
Known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a while and this is the brand's most tech-savvy model. Powered by LiDAR, it creates maps of your home and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It can also tell the distinction between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with water puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is top-notch, avoiding furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lowering itself up steps. The robot can be customized by adjusting different settings, such as cleaning schedules and the rooms it will be cleaning. It also has an emergency button that can oblige the robot to return to the base if it runs out of power and can be programmed to automatically turn itself off when it is a threat of storm.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, while heavy at almost 4kg, it's not difficult to maneuver around furniture. Parents of small children will appreciate the safety features like sensors that warn it to avoid stairs. After being charged it takes just about a couple of hours to charge, and the two buttons on the top will turn green to let you that it is ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends modern cleaning technology and affordability. It's a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its price being lower it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models aren't able to compete with. It utilizes sensors to adjust its settings to different surfaces and floors as well as to identify areas that are less clean and ensure they get enough attention. It can also move at a slower pace to prevent the destruction of furniture and walls.
You can also see the map of your home in the app. You can also mark certain rooms and objects you want the vacuum to stay clear of. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle, and will stop from bumping into it. It also comes with a smart dust bin that alerts you of its fullness so you can empty the bin in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable choice for those looking to delegate everyday cleaning chores. It's a robotic mop and vacuum cleaner that can clean your floors without you having to lift a finger. It is designed with a clever layout that improves cleaning at corners by up to 60%. It comes with up to 7,000 Pa of suction power, and RoboSwing arms, and it is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a fashionable and feature-packed hybrid robot vac/mop that does a fantastic job of keeping floors spick and span. Although it isn't able to raise its mop on carpets and rugs as the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and tackling mopping with a stunning speed. good robot vacuum has a self-emptying bin, delivers an adequate amount of suction power, offers many mopping options, and is controlled by a top quality app that works on both iOS and Android.
It's a bit smaller than many of the competition, and its main brush is smaller than others, but it was able to get the job done in a short amount of our test area easily. The revolving brush on the side for edges is a nice touch and, while it couldn't lift dirt off our carpets and was not as effective as some of the competitors but it did a decent job overall.
Cleaning parameters can be set up for every room and the device will create detailed maps of the rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The application is simple to use and offers various voice output options that can keep you informed of the status of your robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and extend its performance. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
