Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an application that allows you to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture or even stray toys. These features are essential in my house filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum cleaner, so it is naturally with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also has mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are bought separately will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. For those who are on a budget, I suggest considering an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock.  best robot vacuum  is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is mapped by this device or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This machine has one major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
